GAME CO-CREATION WORKSHOP
The Estonian National Museum (ERM) is organising a Game Co-Creation Workshop as part of the i-Game project, which will take place on Wednesday, 8 December 2025, from 10:30 to 16:00 in the World Film Hall at ERM (Muuseumi tee 2, Tartu).
During the workshop, participants will use a test version of the i-Game co-creation platform to collaboratively design games for mobile devices, computers, or virtual reality environments. Game ideas to be developed will be selected collectively on site, so participants are welcome to join with or without a pre-existing idea.
The aim of the workshop is to lay the foundation for an innovative game co-creation network. We invite participation from:
· Game and culture enthusiasts
· Video and board game creators
· Members of gaming communities
· Fashion designers, textile specialists, and museum professionals
Participation in the workshop is free of charge.
The i-Game project aims to develop a game co-design platform, whose pilot version was launched in 2025, enabling users to collaboratively design games for mobile, desktop, or virtual reality platforms. The interdisciplinary project consortium brings together partners from the fields of technology, business, and culture. ERM is responsible for museum and cultural sector research and for testing the pilot platform.
The project is carried out within the framework of the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme and has received funding from the European Union. The project is coordinated by the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) and the Business and Cultural Development Centre (KEPA), with partners including Raising the Floor, Cookie Box Group Gamification & Serious Game, Nurogames GmbH, KU Leuven, Unisystems Luxembourg, Open Impact, Museospace, Prato Textile Museum, and the Estonian National Museum.
