The Data Conversations project’s goal is to rethink how Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) use data to imagine, measure, and make a real impact. This collaboration will enhance how CCI professionals across Europe use data to create societal value.
Cultural organisations are increasingly being asked to prove their worth, often with metrics and frameworks they were never trained to use or interpret.
With Data Conversations, we are building an AI-assisted impact design tool, drawing on previous resources such as the Social Impact Canvas (Me-Mind), Museums of Impact (MOI), and Europeana Playbook. Our aim is to create a sustainability compass, engagement tracker, and digital transformation guide—all in one.
Your input is needed!
If you work in or care about CCIs and their societal impact—or want to better understand how to measure, report, and improve it—please take part in our short, 10-minute survey (18 questions).
The survey is anonymous, and your feedback will help us design an online tool to support CCIs in strategically planning and understanding their impact.
It covers what “impact” means to you, the challenges of impact analysis, how impact is reported, and what features you’d find most useful in a digital tool. Data will be analysed by Malmö University and the University of Florence for research, reporting, and tool development.
If you’d like to test the new tool or stay informed about the project, you can leave your email at the end of the survey.
